Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | Interesting that you say that the connectors at the radar are different between the two tractors even though they both use the same gun. A check of JD parts is somewhat confusing. It appears that the most current dual beam radar for a late 9X20 and a 8X30 would be PN RE249206. On the 8X30 Parts page, the remarks section indicates that this is a SUB for PN RE218822. This remark is not present on the 9X20 parts page.
Another curious thing that I have observed is that there are different part numbers for the North American, UK, European and Australian markets. I'm wondering if the radars are actually different or if this is due to different safety testing restrictions in various markets.
I will need to investigate this further. It's interesting that you have not had problems with the 9520T (Dual Beam) and Raven while many of our customers have. I don't know if all of our customers have experienced this problem but we have heard of several.
