Southwest Illinois | We did the same thing. When we got our to the field I was flipping out due to the poor singulation the 20/20 would show. After the corn came up we were pleased with spacing and stands which confirmed my suspicions with the sensors. Late in the spring I did replace 2 rows of the accustat sensors with Dickey John high rate sensors. They will at times be succeptable in dusty conditions, but far better than the accustat. This year I replaced all the accustat sensors and the change in the readout was incredible. The vision sensors would be ideal but the only person I talked to who did it was 1000 miles away so I was skeptical. With the high rate sensors we are routinely in the 99.2 to 99.5 for singulation. With the accustat sensors we would normally run in the 94% to 98%. | |
