Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I used to work as a Tech and we got involved with repairing and/or making custom harnesses. Unless you are going to be doing this as a business or extremely often, I question whether it is wise to attempt to get completely stocked with all the common connectors that you mention. The connectors and tools are very expensive. We had literally thousands of dollars invested in our supplies and tools. The place specialized in this type of thing so it was necessary.
We used Waytek and Mouser as sources for many supplies. Another problem is many places will not sell in extremely small quantities. Yet another problem is having access to the various wiring diagrams that are needed along with some of the shielding etc. that is required for various communications situations. |
