You cannot put the same rate on at 12 and 20 mph with the same nozzles at the same pressure......The rate controller works by changing pressure to keep your rate the same.


He must have those "magic" tips that just do it all.

It was very common for farmers around here to refer to their 20 gal tips or their 10 gal tips. This of course, was not correct but what they meant was that at a certain pressure (about all the old ACE belt drive pumps could put out) and a usual speed (4th gear on a tractor), it worked out about right.
