Taneytown, MD | 99% sure you need a height switch for it to know whether it's up or down, even if you just put a jumper in the harness (which I don't really recomend). There is a "pie graph" on the top near the red bars. Do you have any pieces of pie, or are they all white?
Edit: We just got a new to us 1780 planter and I could never get that seed tube test to work at all. Got everything done and went out and tested it and it worked perfectly. We also has the 999999 diagnostic code, which I don't know if that means anything.
