I can almost guarantee you that 5 years from now most farmers in the US will be planting extend.

The Becks guy that keeps coming around only has liberty so that's what he is pushing... because he already sold out of extend.



I agree with a lot of what you said.

Most beans will be Xtend in the next five years because the industry will force it on us. The chemical worry may well be blown out of proportion but the unprecedented label restrictions have everyone worried. Time will tell.

I am a Becks dealer, we are currently sold out of one Xtend bean... a 4.9 maturity. We are sold out of two Glyphosate, and three LL varieties. All in the 2 or under and 4.6 or higher maturities ranges. We have no preference on chemical platform, our data shows great parity among them all. It's up to the farmer to choose which best fits his needs.

I am still excited for the Enlist program, and I think the Balance GT beans will be a great option when they get labeled for post application of Isoxaflutole.
