East-Central Ontario | It's amazing how often the people in charge think they know what the law is but don't. A friend of mine here was hauling corn to town with a tractor and wagon. On the way in, he was travelling on the paved road (which is the right way to do it in Ontario) and was pulled over and ticketed for holding up traffic. On the way home he travelled on the shoulder and was pulled over and warned by a different officer from the same detachment that he was obstructing traffic by raising dust on the shoulder and to get on the pavement or he'd be ticketed. | |
