| By one season I mean corn head is only used for corn and flexhead only for beans (here). Here there is no use for a rigid head. The limited amount of oats that is combined around here goes thru a pickup head or is cut with a flexhead, alfalfa gets windrowed and either baled or chopped. The rest is corn and beans.
Due to the many different types and sizes that would be needed, I just don't think that it would make cents for ML to lease heads. They would need flexheads, rigid, drapers and corn heads in all different sizes. Corn heads especially would be a challenge with different widths and rows. Not to mention dull snapping rolls, knife rolls and chopping heads.
