the yield monitor uses 2 load cells with bogie wheels mounted on them that are on the top delivery chain. then there is a shaft speed sensor on the drive. it uses a pocketpc handheld for the display. works super! i love it and hate digging without it. you can see more of it at the mfg site. www.geektechforag.com they are great guys to work with when you need support. highly recommend thier product!
