So if you want to try a few bags of the brand of seed that your coop is selling, do you expect to pay list price for them or some lower price since the coop has placed a large volume order? I ran into that situation several years ago and found that the non-coop entities offered a lower (volume discounted) price while the coop was stuck on list price for the same brand of seed. So what IS the purpose of a coop?
