Driftless SW Wisconsin

One suggestion: when discharging dry fert from an air cart below the soil surface make sure you use diffusers in the lines maybe 2 or 3 ft up from the knife or the air flow will blow a part of your fertilizer right out of the knife slot. Make sure the last 2 or 3 ft from the diffuser to the knife outlet is approx vertical.

Maybe someone else here has some photos of diffusers they can show you. I don't have any diffuser pics handy.

Best of Luck.

There is a dry fert version of a mole knife that will bolt to most DMI 1 x 2" shanks. I would still use double disk sealers to bring some soil back in esp if you are using urea in the mix.
