A pre in the fall would be wasted money for any type of pigweed control in the spring. Maximum labeled rates of Dual, Warrant, Zidua applied with your choice of another mode of action prior to pigweed emergence with a rain to put it into soil, is your best bet. Postemerge pass would have more Dual, etc. Pigweeds in northern KS emerge around first week of May and after every rain after that.
