swmn

I own a 9510 from new a has 2400 engine hrs or so. Has had a Maurer tank extension on from day one. Running a "chip" at 20% over. Also installed a Mud Hog at 1600 hrs.Things I have replaced are, vertical unloading auger, rasp bars, 2 clean grain augers in tank, lower clean grain auger, straw chopper jack shaft bearings, feeder house fan bearings, some belts, rebuilt reverser, clean grain elevator door, reel pump bearings (didn't know it had a grease zerk), and a few other minor things. Most things repaired are from about 1500hrs and up.

Just wondering if I am the only person that doesn't have a problem with straw walker bearings and cranks. I only grease them every other or every third day depending on how many hrs I run. Never have had a problem with them. Probably jinxed myself now. Maybe the guys running a lot of small grains have more problems because of higher cylinder speed. 99% of my combining is corn and soybeans.
