Livinston Co. Il. | On games or while watching sports , you may notice a "stutter" or pixallating of the picture on a regular LCD. Fast moving pictures cause this. Now the 120hrz. LCD TVs have solved that problem..........for a lot more money. This is where the plasma shines , no problems with fast moving pics. If you smoke , the plasma's glass is easier to clean, but causes more reflection or glare. Be carefull what you clean the screen with , especially anti glare cause you can haze them over. As far as the heat and electricity, the energy star compliant use little if any more juice and if your room is dark you can turn down the backlighting a notch or two and the heat will be greatly reduced . Much progress has been made in the last 12 months on TVs. A 12%price drop in Oct.happened and another after the first of the year(Jan.) is coming ! | |
