The wire harness for the 6500, Beacon and power.

6500 pin 3 to Beacon pin 6 (this is COM 2 Tx from the 6500)
6500 pin 4 to Beacon pin 8 (this is COM 2 Rx from the 6500)
6500 pin 9 to beacon pin 11 and to the - battery (this is the ground)
6500 pin 14 to beacon pin 10 and to the + battery (this is the power)


The battery should last all day or more. Its probably a little big for the use but it was cheaper and more common. I couldn't find a good way to attach the battery to the pole so I just used a lot of duck tape on the little box that it is shipped in and used a couple of heavy duty zip ties to attach it to the pole.
