I have a collection of 33 mm color slides (shot from Argus C3 camera that was always with me) of service in Korea. Similar to pictures your uncle Don collected from his service in Korea. Folks here in central PA are very respectful of all vets, active duty or not. No shortage of free meals to any vet here, local folks and business support their vets 100%.
One very special vet is remembered often here at our place. Our mutual friend Jim Johnson, fellow USAF KPA vet and MN farmer, now passed but always remembered. |
