It wasn't that long ago that we spent the summer riding a cultivator that was mounted to the back of the tractor and we centered an iron rod over the row and never ventured more than an inch from the row. Couldn't we follow the same principle and drive a planter over the strip till rows? Has anyone attempted this compared to using rtk and has anyone done any test plots? I hired someone to lay out the strips a few years ago and I followed the rows in the spring but was told there's no way you can do this without suffering a tremendous yield loss. thanks
Are you serious? ???? Somebody actually told you that there would be a big yield loss.......wow lol now that's funny. Its easy driving between strip imo. |
