Buy 10 bred heifers this year and 10 more next year. Buy them from a producer and not a jockey. Buy them as local as possible too. Handle them often as you can before calving arrives so they trust you but don't you trust them with a newborn. Might get a dumb one or a crazy one..

Yearling bull will handle the 10 easy the first year and 20 easy the second year. A couple will maybe go down the road and you will be at the numbers you want.
