While I agree on the optimism.  I personally took a position to hedge the Jan 2016 feeder cattle which protect my calf crop from additional deterioration of price.(They sell Jan 2016). The move today made it less painful to buy 188 Jan put 5.65 or $2825 (Not pretty but it is a position) SOP to buy protection on the cattle being weaned and preconditioned, regardless of price. Hope it expires worthless. Will be interesting if we can hold the rally tomorrow.
