West Texas (Gods Country) | it was said that no proof of drift was in the feed lot. the smell can hang around for a while. it is the pilot or owner of the spray businesses final call if it gets sprayed at that time. I don't know the situation but if farmer was pushing or if rain was coming that also has a lot to do with it. I can't speak for every pilot but I know we don't spray wth the chance of drift unless we absolutely have to. that is why we keep records. we use a source for wind direction and temp that can be looked up by everyone and not manipulated by us. |
