Subject: RE: Continuous soybeans?

Bloomfield, KY.
Have a neighbor who has been putting his whole farm in beans for about 10 years. Still has excellent yields w/a couple of years over 60 bpa for the whole farm.

He fertilizes heavily. I kid him that he doesn't use "x" lbs./ac., he uses "x" inches/acre. You know, the fertilizer is about 3" deep over the whole farm!

He does have occasional weed problems. R-up only herb. program does not work w/continuous beans as many have stated on here before.

Jack
