I have been using plainsman gloves from Sam's the last few years. They are made from goat hide. Price has been reasonable and durability has been better than most cowhide gloves we can get around here. Usually it is the cheap ass stitching that goes on these gloves for me. The stitching seems a little better on the plainsman.

There is no way that I can get gloves to last 5 years. Maybe 6 months before they've got a major hole somewhere.
