We have considered a bosch. Glad to hear such good reviews. But, on the stove I do a lot of canning. Will this ruin or stain the flat top? Would be a dream for cleaning!
No you can't do any canning with a glass flat top stove, that is one thing bad about it. My wife does quite a bit of canning so we kept our old stove and put it in the garage and she uses that for canning. It's not as handy but she makes it work. One nice thing about having the canning stove in the garage however is the heat from the stove doesn't heat up the kitchen in the summer. Our garage stove is pretty close to the kitchen so that does help. |
