Much like the one restored, similar in size, bigger loft, lean to similar, I think yours is bigger. Ours was not the main barn on the farm but the main barn was destroyed by fire by a local man in the 30's who lost everything and lost his mind and burned down 3 big barns nearby including ours. The gutters are also similar so must have transitioned in use like ours did. We saved ours, as a young farmer, not sure that is in your best interest. That would be a big job to disassemble and the Amish here do a good job but no one can afford to work cheap these days. You might come out even having it tore down and selling the lumber. Ed |
