New London, Wisconsin | After the death of a good friend who raised veal calves, his wife had no need for the barn and it had no alternate uses. We talked at length about the possibilities and in the end the building was given to a local guy who tore it down to the concrete in exchange for the materials. Everyone was happy. She also had the concrete removed, buried in the manure pit that was correctly and officially closed and all were good decisions for her.
