WC Franklin Co., In. | I struggled with the same thing for several years. Had an old barn that was solid as heck, but had no practical use as it was too small to get equipment in. Thought about jacking it up a couple feet, gutting it, and turning it into a shop, but just like you found, it was cost prohibitive. I really wanted to keep the barn because it was in such good shape and lets face it, an old barn is the cornerstone of any farmstead. In the end, the decision was made for me since a couple boys playing with fire burned it down. Hated to see it go, but I don't really miss it, either. | |
