I'm sorry if I offend anybody but I just don't understand why you want to cross a British breed with another British breed why not put some Continental breeding in there. Were breeding for pounds arnt we only with Continental are you going to get that. My pick would be Angus / Simmintal. They're both black. Angus you get the long Jevity. Simental you get all the maternal you would ever dream for and you'll get a calf that will feed out. I love Charolais cattle but when you take them to the Sale Barn the buyers have a big problem with that pink hide. Angus / Simmental best of both worlds. I'll get off my soapbox now.
