To the high plains lots if the weather hits em wrong. friend and nieghbor had 2,700 head of em die here in a 4 day snow storm not long ago...and that was just 20 some loads from the SE that storm. whole deal afore lost bout 8,000 total ( 140,000 on feed ). anyway it was educational to say the least.
