Get a house cat. No mice in the house, and much more cuddly than an 80 lb dog. Another bonus is, cats, by nature, keep themselves cleaner than dogs do.
Eww....a cat person! There is nothing more cuddly than an 80 pound dog, especially one that thinks they are a lap dog :)
