I have also been curious about this, If you type in Morton house or pole building house on bing search and select images there are a lot of pictures to look at.  Could a guy spend $60K for a 30x60 building with maybe a steeper pitch roof and overhangs so it doesn't look so much like a box also a heated concrete floor then spend another $75K on the interior and have a new house for $135K or is that not realistic? Another nice thing is the clear span roof trusses would allow you to make the rooms whatever size you want.
