Hey! Hard Knocks, How much moldy wet straw have you eaten?
Too DARN MUCH!! Beets smell like moldy straw as well as taste like it.... Pitched a annual 500 -1000 or so of square straw bales for decades. I reassure you I ended up tasting some of that stuff on years where the bales got wet before they were picked up in the fields..(funny that that flavor sticks in the mind as well as it does)
