If it were as easy looking forward as it is looking back everyone would be doing it.
Timing is everything. If done wrong in '12, placing hedges and then lifting out of them after paying a bunch of margin calls could have been a farm ending kind of mistake if a guy was trying to catch that last couple dollars as it went from $8 to $10.
