Apparently some companies use different equip--- former ee stopped in office one night since he saw the light on, to see if I could swing a place for him to pull into for the night.

His problem------ he "...only had a half hour left before the truck shut down and the company notified."

I did not quiz him on that.......but it sounded a little drastic.

He might have meant that the engine derated or something similar......but I couldn't believe it actually shut down.  He insisted he had to get pulled over, or he would lose power..........his words "shut down"

(We found him a spot a few minutes away........he was a young kid, and left me under an adverse situation, so I figured he was probably scared crapless about violating company policy as a newbie.)
