Near-north Ontario, French River | I'm confused, I don't see anyone making assumptions about anything. The OP said there was an extra $50 net per load to go the extra 25 miles ( 50 mile round trip) . Whether overhead needs to be kept busy is besides the point if the Op has already calculated the net effect of going further. From a purely capitalist stand point, yeah it makes sense as it nets out more at the end of the day. From a practical standpoint, not so much. If it were me I'd stick to the close place unless there was a chance of a back haul or some other circumstance that hasn't been shared like poor service or a dispute with the closer buyer. |
