I am guilty as charged, refuse to calculate the true labor costs.

So what is the answer?  Does beef need to be considerably more expensive, or do beef producers need to be much more efficient?  Does the future of beef look more like the pig and poultry operations?  What would it take to make it an appealing option again, if not money?  If you could hit the switch and they are all fed, and everything is in a climate controlled building, does it become appealing to more folks?
