 Southeast Colorado | Here you would have to have the wheat terminated by a certain date if you were going to replant row crop (June 1 maybe??) Then they only pay you 60% of your guarantee. They wait until the row crop harvest is complete and look things over again. If you have a claim on the row crop they pay you 100% of the value of whichever loss is greater.............then 60% of the other crop's loss. If there is no loss on the row crop...........then they go back and finish paying you at 100% on the wheat. Other areas I'm sure are different but here continuous wheat is not insurable.
