She almost has a degree so she must be right, right?
Tell her there is a difference between working and building something. Most self employed people (building something) work way more than 40 hrs a week. Even when they're not working they're thinking about work. They're different (it's not a bad different), that is just a fact of life that she needs to get used to now if not then see Gregg's post above.
