I despise working ground more than anybody. With that said, as low as you ph is, I would consider it. Regardless of how much lime you apply, you wont get much good out of it the first year broadcast on top of the ground, it will take it a while to work in the soil. As low as the ph is on this piece of dirt, it will most surely cost you yield on your beans this year if not corrected.
