Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | Now that you mention it, that trick was used with early Calc-N-Acres.
The early units didn't have an implement switch so the acres would keep accumulating on the ends unless the operator cycled the acre counter off.
Since this wasn't very desirable, an implement switch could be put in the speed sensor line.
When the implement was UP, the circuit was broken and the speed information never got to the console.
When the implement was lowered the circuit was completed and the acres started accumulating again. |
