Formerly NE North Dakota, now NW MN | Yeah, I haven't followed freight rates versus diesel enough to say I really know what I'm talking about (that particular part of the biz is handled by my uncle and cousin, I never have to get near it), but I know I see what your talking about. Privates dried up around '08. Don't see em much, still have a few tho.
The abuse of truckers on the other end tho... No idea what to do about that. Some places are basicly gangsters, and they will run rackets on the drivers. Waste their time until they figure it out and pay the "unloading fee". No idea what to do for that other than try make it right with the driver. |
