Good discussion. I would like to add that, in our case, there is a very
small difference in long term rates vs. short term. We are "A" paper.
So for me, there is no reason not to pay down the short term debt. I
would think many others are like that. Rates WILL go up at some point.
When they do, those long term locked in 3.5% rates are going to look
really smart.
