The higher percentage of ownership of your assets, the more control you have over your business. Your operating loan should always have a gain in working capital or the whole thing will die. How much you lever operating and move to reduction of long term debt is an issue of structuring your business for long term profitability. If you are making that decision your probably are ok. If a banker is making that decision then you probably are not ok.
