Napanee, Ontario | ya, we thought about it around this time last year Pitt....dumping one of our poorer 100's would have gotten us almost free and clear, depending what it brought.
Then we would have had to sell about 40-50 cows too, unless we wanted to go backwards buying all of our feed in for them or try to find some ground to rent and grow it cheaper....and between my brother dad and I, it didn't make sense to downsize with us involved.
We ended up securing another 100 of rented ground for hay, and bought 40 heifers instead haha | |
