What would be a general corn APH for your area? Trying to put your formulas in perspective for here. Were 160-175 here.
Granddad used to say ground is worth what you could gross off of it in 5 years.... well I paid more then that. But granddad stopped at $2500 per acre.
I'm definitely not aggressive by local standards when it comes to trying to rent ground. And I had passed on a lot of prior farms for sale because I was "scared".... this farm had wayyyyyyy to many things going for me towards it. I'm very glad I did what I did. But I'll be honest.... without last years GRIP check I would have been another spectator....
