Death comes to us all. Life's but a walking shadow | Hear that giant sucking sound? That's the lake of corn acres draining out the sinkhole of prices. The most effective way to cut the cost of production is to "not plant." No seed bill, no fertilizer bill, no chemical bill, no fuel bill, no machinery repair bill and that doesn't even count the non-tangible cost of worrying about getting it planted, getting the weather, getting it harvested and getting it sold at a decent price.
