Subject: Re: New bearing race turns in hub

I would like to know the specification for a Timken bearing.I know they are
not to be overly hard to install and the bearing preset is suppose to keep
then from turning by the pressure against the back side. I do use bearing
set if a little loose, as I am not that good a checking wheels until I feel it
loose.
I would never punch up a new part or even a used unit unless it was in
a rush job waiting to be replaced, or not a very important part.
