Midnight, we've been looking at Google Earth, Google Maps, Virtual Earth, etc.   What we are finding is that if you use them in any manner that is commercial, their licensing is a killer for ag applications.  And, even if you execute a commercial license, it is an infringement of the Terms of Use to generate a hardcopy document.   So, you are left with the tools being practical for people that can roll their own.  And, yeah... there are some neat things you can do if you have that skill.
