| We were in kinda the same boat when they froze in 09. Insurance wouldn't let us quit until the factory officially rejected the beets. Well long story short we pulled the digger in on the 4th of Dec. Every week we could pull a couple more tons to the contracted acre and it finally froze up for good the week of the 4th. I would think it would depend on what your neighbors do. If you park your equipment and the weather breaks and Farmer John down the lane and most of your neighbors pull theirs and you don't if you had the chance I think your going to be SOL on the insurance check. | |
