Martinsville, Ohio | No I am not, I just choose another way. I shouldn't have posted that because I do not mean to brag. Just thinking outside the box. I am nothing compared to my neighbors, they are much better farmers than I am. I am sure by your post you wouldn't want to farm like I try to but I don't buy every idea that comes down the pike.
I read it again and I poked pretty hard, it does sound very boastful. I apologize, that was not my intent at all.
Brian and several NAT'ers came to visit this summer came to see for their self. With what I've seen on other farms, I can't farm like my neighbors. I am not your local BTO and cannot farm like they do. I probably concentrate on soil and plant health too much and IPM but that works better for me. I am very happy with my crops, my soil is not there yet.
I just don't buy the idea that my seedsmen are trying to screw me idea, mine are little guys like me trying to survive a dog eat dog world.
