NE Colorado
There is very little crop damage anywhere outside the river bottoms themselves, but major damage in the Poudre, Big Thompson, St. Vrain, and South Platte river bottoms east of the foothills that are mostly highly productive irrigated areas. It would consist of mainly of corn, sugar beets, alfalfa, some potatoes, and some vegetable crops. Millet is grown well east of that area on dryland and that harvest was mainly done before the rain. There is still some left in windrows that will probably be ok to harvest once it drys out. Th South Platte damage may well extend into Nebraska when all is said and done. More common rain amounts once you get 50 or so miles east of the front range were more in the 2+ inch range with areas of of 4 to 6 inches in small spots.
